Navman Sets a Course for Europe
Vehicle tracking and routing specialists Navman Wireless Business Solutions is launching a new dealer-led sales operation in Italy to support rapid European sales growth.
The Italian office will be headed up by Sales Manager Marco Federzoni, who already has five years experience of telematics within Navman's consumer products division.
Navman has established a strong reputation in Italy for its consumer product range, and is aiming to repeat this success with its business-oriented technology. The innovative M-Nav 650 system, which combines fleet tracking and monitoring with in-car satellite navigation, is set to become a flagship product in the company''s Italian ambitions.
Marco said: "Italy currently comprises around 10% of Europe's total GPS market and there is real potential for Navman''s wireless technology range to succeed here.
"Although fleet monitoring products already exist in Italy, no one is currently offering businesses a combined satellite navigation and tracking solution. We are aiming to fill this gap in the market, and help Italian companies manage their workforce more effectively than ever before. It's an exciting opportunity."
Navman Wireless Business Solutions has an existing European presence, marketing its products through distributors in Spain and Denmark. The company also operates in the UK, USA, New Zealand, Australia and Chile.
The M-Nav 650 is currently the fastest-selling integrated vehicle tracking and satellite navigation system in the UK.
