Innovation Key To National Business Awards’ Success
Investment in research and development has been pivotal to Navman Wireless's dynamic growth of more than 60 per cent - recognised in its shortlisting for the finals of the National Business Awards' Growth Strategy of the Year - the company has revealed.
Turnover rocketed by 61.1 per cent during its last financial year and Tony Neill, Navman Wireless's Vice President EMEA, says its vigorous growth has been driven by the company's vision and development for the future of vehicle tracking and mobile data solutions.

Forty R&D engineers operating from a purpose built facility in New Zealand have been instrumental in devising industry innovations such as the company's integrated tracking, messaging and satellite navigation system, the M-Nav 650.
"By maintaining a constant dialogue with service fleet and haulage customers, investing in and fostering a culture of innovation and providing the market with practical solutions, we have been able to drive the success of both the business and the global telematics industry," he explains.
"To be recognised for achieving this by National Business Award judges, through an exceptional growth strategy, is extremely rewarding."
With the company's investment in the future of the industry continuing apace, a raft of new developments are set to be launched in the coming months.
The grand final of the National Business Awards, recognising excellence in business achievement, will be held at the Grosvenor Hotel, London, on November 13.
