Navman Wireless Launches in Ireland
01-11-2007 - Navman Wireless has announced the launch of its award-winning vehicle tracking and fleet management systems in Ireland.
Irish-based businesses are now able to benefit from the company''s range of state-of-the-art telematics technologies, designed to improve their operational processes, raise efficiency and boost profitability.
"It has always been my ambition to take the company home to the Irish marketplace," said Belfast born and raised Tony Neill, Navman Wireless's Vice President Europe, Middle East and Africa.

Navman Wireless, at the forefront of the telematics market globally, has recruited its first dealers and is now in the process of establishing an extensive dealer channel across both Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland.
Crucially, Navman Wireless vehicle tracking enables business fleets to 'roam' between networks north and south of the Irish border and, for a fixed cost, still remain visible to fleet managers.
The company''s technology includes its low cost, reliable and secure two-way messaging system, which allows businesses to send job details, directions or unlimited messages to staff using GPS satellite technology, the Vodafone network and the internet.
Moreover, Navman Wireless's OnlineAVL software provides fleet managers with a wealth of information from vehicle locations to start and stop times, along with a range of management reports detailing data such as driver working hours and vehicle speeds.
