Navman Wireless Appoints New RD Chief
Vehicle tracking leader Navman Wireless has appointed a new research and development chief to help shape the future of the telematics industry.
The UK’s largest manufacturer of vehicle tracking equipment has named fleet software expert Paresh Nagda as its new Vice President of Research & Development and Chief Technical Officer.
He said: “Navman Wireless has taken a number of steps in the past year to position itself for significant growth.
“Its renewed focus on fleet management technology, combined with its emphasis on R&D and product innovation, positions it well to gain both market share and a broad new range of customers around the world.”
The 42-year-old, who has enjoyed a glittering 20-year career in software, fleet tracking and database development, including a successful eight-year stint with GPS firm @Road of Trimble - one of the largest fleet tracking and management systems companies in the US - where he was Vice President of Mobile Resource Management Software Products.
He has also held roles in fellow US firms Informix and IMC Agribusiness and owned and operated his own IT consulting business.
